ATTORNEY PROFILE

B. Reid Zeh III was born in Springfield , Virginia . Raised in the suburbs of Washington , D.C. during his early childhood years, Mr. Zeh and his family moved to Brunswick and the Golden Isles in 1985. Mr. Zeh attended Frederica Academy on St. Simons Island and graduated in 1992. Mr. Zeh was a member of his high school golf team, achieving “All-State” honors four consecutive years and earning state individual honors in 1990. In addition, Mr. Zeh was a member of three Georgia State Soccer Championship Teams, serving as captain his senior season.

Mr. Zeh was the recipient of a NCAA Division I scholarship and attended the College of Charleston , where he was a member of the men's golf team. He graduated with honors in 1996 with a bachelor of arts in Political Science and a minor in History. Mr. Zeh was a two-time All-Conference Academic Scholar, a finalist for the President's Athletics and Academics Achievement Award and a recipient of the Coach's Award his senior season.

Mr. Zeh attended law school at the University of Miami in Coral Gables , Florida , and graduated in 1999. While in school, he participated in the moot court program and mock trial competition. Mr. Zeh was an active participant in the University's Children and the Youth Law Clinic, serving as an advocate for children's rights. He was also a founding member of the law school's Personal Injury Society.

Mr. Zeh returned to Brunswick following his graduation from law school and began his legal career as an attorney with Fendig, McLemore, Taylor , Whitworth and Durham , P.C., representing insurance companies in a variety of legal claims throughout Georgia . In 2001, Mr. Zeh was sworn in as an Assistant District Attorney for the Brunswick Judicial Circuit, covering Glynn, Camden , Wayne, Jeff Davis and Appling counties. As an assistant district attorney, Mr. Zeh handled hundreds of felony cases for the State while vigorously fighting for the rights of victims. Mr. Zeh earned a reputation as a tenacious, driven, hard working attorney willing to fight for what he believes in no matter the circumstances.

B. Reid Zeh III, P.C. opened its doors in May of 2002. Since its inception, Mr. Zeh has handled more than one thousand cases for clients throughout southeast Georgia . The practice, specializing in personal injury, worker's compensation claims, family law, criminal law and DUI defense, continues to grow and expand. Mr. Zeh moved into his new office located at 1628 Union Street , Brunswick , in January of 2007.

Mr. Zeh is a member of the National Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Georgia Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the State Bar of Georgia and American Bar Association. Mr. Zeh is licensed to practice in all Georgia courts, including the Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. In addition, he is licensed to practice in Federal court and is a member of the Southern District of Georgia.

In his spare time, Mr. Zeh enjoys spending time with his family. Mr. Zeh is married to his wife, Valarie, and has two children, Chelsea Nicole and William Brian. The Zeh family resides on St. Simons Island, Georgia.
